Marissa Bega got her Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Nevada in 2004.  After studying and traveling abroad she settled in Oregon in 2005.  While in Africa she found a deeper appreciation for the buildings we have all around us and often take for granted.  In Portland, she began working as a remodel assistant for local renovation companies intending to become a homebuilder.  After quickly completing her apprenticeship training she partnered with Jason in 2006 to create a remodeling company offering unique finish work and world class customer service.  CRG opened in 2007.  Marissa is an accomplished musician currently playing French Horn in her spare time with the Oregon Symphonic Band http://www.osband.org

Jason Jones has worked in the trades for more than 20 years.  In 1998 he opened his first remodeling company doing primarily finish work projects.  In 2001 he was awarded the contract for the historic Simon Benson House http://www.pdx.edu/alumni/ restoration at Portland State University—restoring all the interior woodwork, stairs, and floors.  In 2003, after five successful years, he closed the company to spend more time with his newborn son and follow his dream of sculpting in marble.  In 2006 Jason opened Jones Sculpture Studio, www.jonessculpturestudio.com  The studio has completed many commissions for a wide variety of private and commercial patrons.  When Marissa joined the studio in 2006, working on sculptural restorations, she focused on blending the artistry of the studio with the practical functions of a remodeling company.  That synthesis of vision is what CRG Construction is all about.
